Whitehead Monckton win Services to Industry Award
As part of their continuous ‘recognition of excellence’ programme, the Directors of Business & Commerce Today have singled out Maidstone solicitors, Whitehead Monckton to receive the Annual Services to Industry Award. The award reflects the outstanding range of services that the firm deliver to their clients on a daily basis, as well as the continual success that they have achieved over recent years.
On the presentation of the Business Achievement (BA) Award, one of the publications directors explained: “After research into several firms within the legal industry, Whitehead Monckton stood out as the most reliable, cost effective and personal by a long way. The firms policies are stringent, yet welcoming to the client and the work ethics that are adopted are second to none.”

This year, Whitehead Monckton celebrates its 226th anniversary. The firm, which has always been based in Maidstone, has occupied the same building since 1839, which has undergone significant changes over the years and now provides comfortable modern facilities for clients and staff.
Whitehead Monckton also has an office in Tenterden, which was opened in 1984 and serves a wide range of clients, from private individuals to local businesses.
As a firm, Whitehead Monckton is ‘unique to Kent’ and, while the firm’s client base extends across the South East, the majority of clients are based within Kent. In particular, the award-winners have a long-standing relationship with many of the traditional Kent families.
